Integrated management
The management system ensures that the structure and organisation of our company are in harmony with our company policy, and at the same time ensures that there is compliance with all standards, laws and guidelines that are relevant for us, such as those contained in ISO 9000 ff, ISO 14001, ISO 13485 and the Medicines Act, AMWHV, GMP, MPG and Eco Audit Regulation. The statements are defined more precisely in the operating procedures , and in the work procedures that relate directly to workplace and processes.
Our integrated management system comprises rules and procedures for the following five areas:
  • Quality
  • Environmental protection
  • Industrial safety
  • Leadership and teamwork
  • Risk management
Tasks and objectives
The task and objective of the M system is to implement company policy and the related objectives in the company.

Among other things, it regulates:

  • structural organisation
  • organisation of processes
  • fulfilment of customer expectations and requirements
  • observation of work safety
  • recognition of mistakes and their causes, and initiation of corrective measures
  • provision of staff and resources.

    The effectiveness of the M system is continually monitored and improved by means of planned and regular checks, audits and reviews.
Area of application
The Management system is valid for the site Schülke & Mayr GmbH, 22840 Norderstedt and for the subsidiary companies.

Customers and suppliers are included in the system through agreements concerning areas of overlap.  
Principal and supporting processes
ISO 9001 and also ISO 14001 support the process-oriented basis of a management system.

Schülke & Mayr has defined its main process Productrealisation and six supporting processes. In order to present the connections in a transparent and understandable manner a process model has been drawn up:

Essentially, reference has been made to the presentation in the standards, but this has been extended by topics specific to Schülke & Mayr.
