NDP Surfaplus

Description

NDP Surfaplus is a product in spray form for the disinfection of surfaces of non-invasive medical devices. Elaborated from a synergistic blend (NDP) of active ingredients, with next-generation quaternary ammonium compounds in combination with adjuvant agents and active extracts of essential oils.

Applications

Disinfection of surfaces, for non invasive medical devices: stretchers, operation tables, diagnostic screens, clinical monitoring and dialysis equipment, hospital beds, IV poles, wheelchairs, cures cart, ambulances interiors, etc.

1. Cleaning the surface to disinfect: In case of visible dirtiness or to improve the disinfection results, it is recommended to clean the surface with a neutral detergent before using the disinfectant solution. Avoid dry cleaning with the purpose of not moving dust. Preferred cleaning methods use a humid drag. Cleaning should be done following the horizontal direction in zigzag, from up to down and from the inside towards the outside of the surfaces.
2. Disinfection: Spray the product or apply it with a cloth or gauze, undiluted, until the complete impregnation of the surface to be disinfected. When using an aseptic cloth or a sterile swab to apply the product, disinfect from less to more contaminated areas, changing the cloth /tissue frequently. It is also recommended when the contamination is high or the degree of criticalness of the surface. Leave the product to act on the surface for at least 1 minute at room temperature (see Effectiveness section). The product is self-drying. Should non-evaporated product remain on the surface, remove it with a cloth.

Observations:

• Room temperature is optimal for its use.
• Its application in absence of patients is advisable, in order to avoid aerosol breathing.

0.46 % Didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride 70 %, 0.1 % 2-phenoxyethanol, 0.02 % Cinnamaldehyde, 30 % Isopropanol, 100 % Excipients and water, qsf.
