Make sure that the devices are completely immersed, wetted and filled without bubbles.
When the contact time has elapsed, rinse thoroughly with water of a quality appropriate to the subsequent use of the equipment / instruments (e.g. sterile water). This avoids, inter alia, undesirable interactions and effects in any subsequent manual or mechanical treatments.
Please watch local guidelines for reprocessing of flexible endoscopes. According to the requirements medical devices may need to be reprocessed with additional methods.
Besides manual reprocessing gigasept® AF is also suitable for semi-automated processes at room temperature.
If gigasept® AF working solution or concentrate come into contact with other products (especially those containing aldehydes), there may be precipitation / discolouration / loss of efficacy.
Hence, any mixing of products must be avoided. Before the first use of gigasept® AF, it is advisable to thoroughly rinse all medical devices with water.
