mikrozid^®sensitive liquid

The product is suitable for the cleaning and disinfection of medical devices and alcohol-sensitive surfaces. Due to the very good material compatibility the product is to be used on alcohol sensitive surfaces. Medical equipment as defined by the Medical Device Directive (MDD), such as:

• surfaces of medical devices such as a stethoscope, application parts such as ultrasonic heads of probes for abdominal examinations or acrylic glass.
• Please note for the disinfection of semicritical devices (e.g. ultrasonic heads of probes for vaginal examinations) a final high-level disinfection is required.

• small surfaces in hospitals, medical and dental practices and ambulances
• small surfaces in medical laboratories, residential and nursing home

mikrozid® sensitive liquid is a ready to use quarternary ammonium compound disinfectant. Ideal for rapid and effective cleaning of alcohol-sensitive surfaces of medical devices and other environmental surface.

Composition:
100 g solution contains the following active substances: 0.25 g Alkyl(C12-C16) dimethylbenzyl ammonium chloride (ADBAC/BKC (C12-C16)); 0.25 g Didecyldimethylammonium chloride (DDAC), 0.25 g Alkyl(C12-C14) ethylbenzylammonium chloride (ADEBAC (C12-C14))

Always read the label and product information before use.
The suitability of the product with regard to its efficacy spectrum must be checked separately. The following applies to surface disinfectants: "Disinfectants differ, among other things, with regard to their efficacy spectrum on microorganisms. This must be taken into account when selecting a suitable preparation for the respective areas." Please note that cases are known of bacterial strains which show a reduced sensitivity or development of tolerance to disinfectants.** Among other things, products based on quaternary ammonium compounds may not be sufficiently effective in these cases. For disinfection of surfaces in high-risk areas (such as intensive care, haematology-oncology, neonatology or burn units) schülke therefore recommends for example mikrozid® PAA wipes or mikrozid® AF wipes, which, due to their properties, cover a particularly broad spectrum of activity.
