Instructions for use

  • Hygienic Hand Disinfection - Rub desderman® CHG well over clean, dry hands and nail grooves for 30 secs.
  • Surgical Hand Disinfection - Rub desderman® CHG well over clean, dry hands, grooves & up to elbows for 3 minutes.
  • Skin Antisepsis - Apply desderman® CHG on operative & peri-operative skin regions and allow to dry for 30 secs. before incision.
  • Apply 2-3 times for best results.

  • Chlorhexidine Gluconate Solution IP 2.5 % v/v (equivalent to Chlorhexidine Gluconate 0.5 % w/v)
  • Ethanol IP 70 % v/v
  • Emollient & moisturising agents

Special advice

  • Do not mix with detergent or other chemicals.
  • Keep out of eyes & ears.
  • Keep away from children.
  • Avoid direct contact with eyes.
  • Contraindicated in case of known hypersensitivity with chlorhexidine.
