Product Profile

MICROSHIELD® Handrub is an alcohol-based hand rub intended for hygienic hand disinfection. Developed specifically for the hospital and healthcare market, MICROSHIELD® Handrub offers rapid hand antisepsis with the added security of chlorhexidine in a liquid formulation with a light fragrance.

Instructions for use

  • Use undiluted.
  • Rapid hand antisepsis: Dispense sufficient MICROSHIELD® Handrub to wet hands and fingernails. Rub vigorously over all surfaces until dry.
  • Skin antisepsis: Dispense sufficient MICROSHIELD® Handrub to wet area to be treated. Rub vigorously over all surfaces until dry.

Special advice

Always read the label and use only as directed.

  • For external use only. Keep out of eyes and ears. Do not swallow.
  • Flammable. Keep away from fire or flame.
  • Avoid contact with eyes. In case of eye contact, immediately flush with water.
  • Contraindicated in case of known hypersensitivity to Chlorhexidine.
  • Discontinue use if skin irritation or redness develops.
  • Do not mix with detergents and other chemicals.
  • Do not use after the expiry date.
