Instructions for use

  • Use undiluted.
  • Swab Skin to visibly wet area to be treated and leave for 2 minutes. Allow to dry.
  • Solution is not for ophthalmic, bladder and peritoneal usage.
  • MICROSHIELD® Tincture 2E must not come in contact with brain, meninges, middle ear or syringes and needles to be used for spinal injections.
  • Do not mix with detergents or other chemicals.
  • Keep out of eyes and eyes.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Contraindicated in case of known hypersensitivity to chlorhexidine.

Composition:

  • Chlorhexidine Gluconate Solution IP 10 % v/v (equivalent to Chlorhexidine Gluconate 2% w/v)
  • Ethanol IP 80% v/v

Special advice

ALWAYS READ THE LABEL AND USE AS DIRECTED

  • For external use only. Do not swallow.
  • Flammable. Keep away from fire or flame.
  • Avoid contact with eyes. In case of eyes contact, immediately flush with water.
  • Discontinue use if skin irritation or redness develops.
  • Do not mix with other detergents or chemicals.
  • Do not use after the expiry date.
  • Contradicted in case of known hypersensitivity to chlorhexidine.
