octenisept® gel is designed for treating acute wounds such as grazes, cuts, minor burns, and sunburn. It aids optimal wound healing by maintaining a moist environment, which is crucial for skin cell division and migration. The gel forms a protective layer against bacteria, inactivating pathogens and preventing infections. This process supports and accelerates natural wound healing. Additionally, octenisept® gel has a cooling effect that alleviates itching. It is colorless and non-burning upon application.
Tissue tolerability and biocompatibility of octenisept® gel
Non-irritating, non-sensitising, pain-free, without tissue toxicity, no impairment of granulation or epithelialisation. The good tolerability of Octenidine has been confirmed by clinical experience over many years and by clinical studies on chronic wounds.

Apply the wound gel 1 to 2 times a day until the wound has healed up completely. For hygienic reasons, the tip of the gel tube must not touch the wound or other surfaces.
