For the disinfection of dental impressions made of silicone, polyether, alginate by submersion.
The active substance system of prepared working solutions remains stable over a holding time of 8 h at 25 °C and ensures full microbiological efficacy during this time. The working solution should be changed if it is visibly contaminated. To avoid the transmission of microbes and infections, the dental impressions should always be disinfected in the dental practice before shipment to the dental laboratory. If the dental laboratory is unsure whether impressions were disinfected, disinfection must be performed in any case after receipt of materials from the practice.
