schülke opens subsidiary in Shanghai, China

As a strategically important market in the business fields Personal Care and Industrial Hygiene, schülke has been represented in China since 2001 with a Representative Office of Schülke & Mayr GmbH. After receiving the business license to operate as a separate legal entity within China at the beginning of March this year, the new subsidiary Schulke Chemical (Shanghai) Co, Ltd. was officially and ceremoniously opened on April 01, 2020.
The team of Schulke China as well as representatives of schülke Asia Pacific and the management from Norderstedt participated in this festive ceremony, partly online. For Mark Zhang, Operations Manager of Schulke China, this is the start into a successful future: "The new foundation of Schulke Chemical (Shanghai) Co, Ltd. is indeed a new beginning and an important milestone for the entire China team. We are looking forward to it and are ready to create a successful future for Schulke China together".
Due to the current exceptional situation caused by the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, the festive opening ceremony was mainly carried out digitally. Christian Last, CEO schülke, officially opened the subsidiary, followed by a ceremonial cutting of the red ribbons at six different locations. Afterwards, the Schulke China team had the honor of officially unveiling the name tag. With a joint toast and three traditional cheers to celebrate this great event, the new subsidiary in China was then duly welcomed into the international schülke family.
