This year’s World Oral Health Day runs under the motto “A happy mouth is a happy body”

A healthy mouth is of significant importance to our general well-being – while a pretty smile plays a major role in the perception of our attractiveness. Accordingly poor oral health not only lowers our self-esteem, it can also lead to chronic health problems, such as an increased risk of heart attack and stroke. (1)

At schülke, we have been commited to the topic of oral health and oral hygiene for a long time. Here are a few interesting facts about the importance of oral hygiene and how you can best protect your mouth and your oral health:
