Fields of Application
mikrozid® PAA wipes are the ideal disinfection wipes for areas with a particularly high pathogen transmission risk because of their broad spectrum of efficacy and the rapidity with which they take effect. Examples include isolation rooms, operating theatres, intensive care units and the non-sterile side of the CSSD/ endoscopy or neonatology departments. The wipes are appropriate for disinfection of medical devices and other surfaces of all types. The prime areas of use are surfaces in close proximity to patients and surfaces with frequent hand or skin contact. Due to the efficacy and the material compatibility mikrozid® PAA wipes are suitable for the reprocessing of medical devices without canal: For example:

  • Nasopharyngoscope (ENT)
  • ultrasound probes*
The spectrum of sporicidal action of mikrozid® PAA wipes means they can play a central role in breaking infection chains and in prophylaxis against infectious agents such as Clostridium difficile.

Special advice
Use disinfectants safely. Always read the label and product information before use.
The wiping range depends on the room temperature and on the structure of the surface to be disinfected (max. 3,5 m² in surface disinfection). Do not use on non-ferrous metal and do not mix with any detergent. More information available on request.

Instruction for use:

Wearing gloves (e.g. of nitrile rubber) is necessary. Thoroughly wipe the surface with the impregnated cloth and allow to take effect. Make sure to wet surfaces completely and keep them wet for the whole exposure time. Make sure that all visible dirt is removed prior to disinfection. When opening and inserting the first cloth, make sure that hygiene require­ments are maintained. Make sure to close the lid tightly after use. If necessary, use several wipes for large areas. Do not use on non-ferrous metal and do not mix with any detergent. schülke guarantees a shelf life of 28 days after the package has been opened, if all instructions given by schülke are followed.
