schülke celebrates the International Women´s Day 2023

08.03.2023

Today is the day when many companies show how important equality is to them: InternationalWomensDay! Under this year's motto, 'EmbraceEquity', attention will be drawn to the distributional inequalities that still exist between women and men. We are also taking this as an opportunity to take a look at how schülke is doing with equal opportunities.

What is the current situation at schülke?

Around 41% women and 59% men work at #schülke worldwide (as of December 2022).

What are our goals?

In the next seven years, we want to achieve the following:

  • by 2025: a workforce that comprises 42% women.
  • by 2030: a workforce that comprises 50% women.

In line with the Diversity Charter, we at #schülke have defined a wide range of measures in our strategic diversity roadmap to 2025 in order to make our diversity visible, promote it and benefit from it.

Two of the key aims of the roadmap are to increase equal opportunities for women and to strengthen the quota of women in the company. The measures we have initiated to achieve our goals can be read in our Sustainability Report. Click here for the report.

Today we are launching our Women Roundtable. We introduced it to give our female colleagues a platform to network and exchange ideas - both internationally and nationally. How nice that so many were there today!
