Behind the sustainability: Team CSRD Readiness
Our mission to protect life worldwide goes far beyond the development of products for infection prevention and control. At schülke, we want to make an active contribution to a future-oriented society and a healthy environment.
A decisive step on this path is our sustainability reporting, which, in addition to fulfilling a legal obligation, makes our sustainability activities all the more visible and demonstrates our high standards in the area of sustainability.
The introduction of structured sustainability reporting will continue to be a challenging task for our schülke Sustainability Team in the future: The EU Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD Directive) makes it necessary to harmonize our data and systems worldwide. So far, there is no standard process for this.
Despite this challenge, our team has already achieved significant milestones: We are particularly proud of the completion of our comprehensive materiality analysis and the GAP analysis derived from it. These findings show us exactly which steps are necessary to fully comply with the CSRD requirements and to optimize schülke's contribution to a healthy environment and sustainable society in a targeted and measurable way.
Our sustainability reporting should enable us to access reliable data and make well-founded decisions in the future. This will enable us to continuously improve our measures and drive forward sustainable developments at schülke step by step.
