Fields of Application
1. Produce a training solution: Before starting the training, pour the contents of the schülke optics 10 ml concentrate bottle into a full 500 ml bottle of schülke hand disinfectant (e.g. desmanol® pure). Shake the content briefly. Place the schülke optics training sticker on the 500 ml bottle in order to avoid confusion with regular hand disinfection content.
2. Start the hand disinfection training: Rub the training solution into hands based on hygienic or surgical hand disinfection steps.
3. Visualize the result: To uncover wetting gaps hold your hands under the UV lamp (366 nm). It will reveal bright, luminous areas as well as dark areas on the skin. Lighter areas indicate better wetting and therefore more effective disinfection. The dark areas show skin that received insufficient or no disinfectant - validating the quality of your hand disinfection technique.

Special advice
Do not use the concentrate undiluted, but only in combination with alcohol-based hand disinfectants for training purposes according to instructions. Store the concentrate in the dark.
To ensure the training solution is not used for hand disinfection, proper labeling and disposal must be ensured by the trainer. If spilled, there may be residues of fluorescent and alcohol. Do not allow to dry but clean up immediately.
