Fields of Application

  • BactiScrub is a 4% chlorhexidine soapy gel, designed for antiseptic cleansing of patients’ skin.
  • The gel formulation ensures precise dosing in every application, minimizing the risks of spills and splashes.
  • Provides deep cleansing while caring for the skin

Instructions for use

Antiseptic wash of the patient skin:

  1. Wet the skin ideally in the bath or shower.
  2. Apply undiluted directly to wet skin in a quantity sufficient to ensure even coverage over the entire body. Wash the whole body, avoiding contact with the eyes, ears, and mouth
  3. Leave the solution on the skin for about three minutes to ensure antiseptic absorption.
  4. Rinse off and dry the skin.

Once the skin is clean do not apply any other bathing products, lotions, moisturisers or makeup, since they can reduce the effectiveness of chlorhexidine.

4 % Chlorhexidine digluconate, 6 % Non ionic surfactants, csp 100 % Emollients, excipients and water

Special advice

  • Read the label carefully before using the product.
  • External use, do not intake.
  • Avoid direct contact with nervous tissue, eyes and middle ear. Irritating to the eyes.
  • Hazard statements: Causes serious eye damage (H318). Very toxic to aquatic life (H400). Toxic to aquatic life, with long lasting effects (H411)
  • Precautionary statements: IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. (P305 + P351 + P338). If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice. (P337 + P313). Avoid release to the environment. (P273). Collect spillage. (P391). Dispose of contents and container in accordance with local regulations. (P501).
