Fields of Application
For the disinfection of medical device surfaces. Especially suitable for surfaces sensitive to alcohol (e.g. leather, PVC and acrylic glass).
Instructions for use
Wipe surfaces thoroughly (ensuring they are thoroughly wetted) and allow to take effect. Make sure that all visible soiling is removed before disinfection. When using on particularly large areas, use several wipes if necessary. Make sure to close the lid tightly after use.
Refilling
First disinfect hands and wear new protective gloves. During the refilling process, please ensure that the gloves are not contaminated by other activities. On every refill, subject the lid closure to disinfectant cleaning with an alcohol based surface disinfectant.

Special advice
Always read the label and product information before use. The suitability of the product and its efficacy spectrum should be assessed according to the intended application. Disinfectants differ in their spectrum of activity against microorganisms. When selecting a disinfectant, consideration should be given to the level of efficacy required for the intended area of use. Reduced susceptibility or tolerance to disinfectants has been reported in some bacterial strains.** In such cases, products based on quaternary ammonium compounds (QACs) may not provide sufficient efficacy. For surface disinfection in high-risk clinical areas, such as intensive care, haematology-oncology, neonatology and burn units, schülke recommends the use of products with a particularly broad spectrum of activity, such as mikrozid® PAA wipes or mikrozid® universal wipes.
Wear protective gloves when using the product. Not suitable for the disinfection of invasive medical devices.
